The Road
If this past week didn't remind you of how difficult it is for these kids to play on the road, you weren't paying attention.
Very curious to see how you guys react to UNLV's loss to a surprisingly strong San Diego St. Speaking of San Diego, you have to imagine a big school making a play at him? USC maybe.

Now that football is behind us...
One great thing about the BCS game every year is the discussion surrounding the alternatives that could take place if the knuckleheads who ran college football would wise up and give the fans some sort of a playoff.
Hartzell, how often do you get caught Tebow-ing? I think I saw you on the website.
Post away.

Conference Play Begins
Happy New Year basketball enthusiasts! Here is a question for you to ponder, who is better Georgetown or Indiana? After nearly a month's absence we hope that Dru is okay and will return to fuel the fire of debate.

Happy Holidays!

Go ahead Xavier-haters and drop them off your lists. Pretty decent week for the last week of the non conference games. Probably nothing life changing will happen this week, but we will see. Did anyone read Jay Bilas' new rankings? I didn't but I find it a little "coincidental" that he comes up with this ranking system after we re-ignite this blog.

A New Number One?

So if you didn't see the end of the Cincinnati-Xavier game then you should probably turn on ESPN. "Road Test Saturday" proved to be quite difficult for some of the nation's best teams, but the season moves on. Now we have to endure a boring week of Finals before the Holiday break, then conference season begins!!! Let the posting begin.

Week 5
Well Boeheim finally acted like an adult so we can move on.
Also, the Big Ten is by far the best conference this year. Not including Nebraska, 9 out of their 11 teams will probably make the big dance. Winning the Big 10 conference tournament might even be a bigger achievement than winning the dance.

Feast Week
Welcome back all! Figure we would see if we can ignite this old thing. Could be tough, but so has Memphis' week in Hawaii. Luke Walton has the best job out of those locked out in the Association. Anyways, find some time to post your thoughts and your rankings. Duke plays Kansas tonight to remain perfect in Maui all time, it will be interesting to see if UCLA can get a win against a Division 1 team, but Michigan has looked good so far.
Fire away.
Fire away.

Happy Holidays!
Finals week is here, which means a slow week of games. Perhaps we could use that week to get this thing jump started for the year. We appear to be a man down, I guess it is still football season in Athens. Not sure how the weather is where you all are, but we are getting pounded by the white stuff in Syracuse, NY. And I don't mean the stuff you get in a milk jug.

...And A New Year Begins
Its November, which means its basketball time. Post a pre-season outlook and don't let the fact that Pittsburgh just finished the 1st half on a 9-0 run to take a 1 point advantage into the half against Rhode Island deter you from selecting the Panthers.
LeMoyne/Syracuse tomorrow, I'll make sure that you get a full update on the Orange following the game.
