lux,
indiana is a good squad, they may very well win the big ten.
the newly released:
1- UCONN (maui champions, big east frontrunners, and duke lost) 2- Duke (wish I could drop them more, but they're solid) 3- Memphis (play equals that of a 1 seed this year, not saying they're gonna be final four, but they'll be in the hunt) 4- Villanova (also playing like a 1 seed) 5- Gonzaga (if you think they're a 1 seed, you're lying to yourself) 6- Texas (at this point they're running away with the big 12) 7- Florida (tennessee is the only team who will be able to contest them for the SEC, i still think florida is better than the vols) 8- Indiana (what is wrong with them being a 2 seed, and how is this reflective of the AP) 9- West Virginia (win at Pauley, undefeated in big east, coming together really well, might be the hottest team in the nation) 10- Washington (they'll win the pac 10, but thats about it) 11- Illinois 12- Michigan State (this team is playing better, and if they can hold it together, they'll be dangerous) 13- N.C. State (second best ACC team....easily) 14- Tennessee (wins against at Texas and vs. Florida, played well against Memphis) 15- George Washington (should win the A10....should) 16- Pittsburgh (just waiting for them to lose really).
big week for pittsburgh and florida.
final four (as of now): Duke UCONN Villanova/West Virginia Zaga
Lux and Matt, Lux is right about both Flordia and Indiana they are overatted, when it comes to tournament time they won't make it past the sweet 16.
1. Duke-Fluke lost it won't happen again 2. UConn-they look good but still almost blew it at cuse last week. 3. Texas-recovered well since losing those two games, might now lose in the big 12. 4. Villanova-Wait and see how they do aganist UConn 5. Gonzaga-continues to dominate the wcc, see you in the tournament 6. Memphis-plays a pretty soft schedule from here on out, but impressive out of conference schedule 7. Illinois-team with tournament tested players and they just know how to win 8.Flordia-will prob fall out of a 2 seed but for now we'll have to leave them 9.Michigan State-Izzo knows how to win 10. West Virginia-I agree with Matt they will hit a slump soon, but i wouldn't want to play them in the tournament 11. Pitt 12. Washington-PAC 10 weak 13. NC State-solid team 14. Indiana-not as good as you think they are matt 15. Wisconsin-tough lose to ND St but they will come around 16. George Washington-only because they might not lose again in the A-10
Its crunch time teams will start to seperate themselves in the next two weeks.
