and here you are:
1- UCONN (Maui win is even more impressive than Texas on a neutral court after this week). 2- Duke (read above). 3- Villanova 4- Illinois (some pretty solid wins so far, probably going to win the big ten) 5- Florida (still looking good) 6- Memphis (if they replayed duke tomorrow, i'd take 'em, might run table in CUSA) 7- Gonzaga (combination of playing a good schedule, and a lot of parity) 8- Oklahoma (not particularly thrilled with this) 9- Louisville (still a 3 seed) 10- Washington (only this low, because they haven't played on the road, even Duke has played on the road) 11- Michigan State (must be more consistent) 12- UCLA (pac 10 should finally be interesting this year outside UW/zona) 13- Kentucky 14- Boston College (lost two hard games on the road, still second best in the ACC) 15- George Washington (winner of A10 should probably be a 4 seed) 16- Texas (i could see losing to tennessee, but at home, by that amount....geez)
Matt, It looks like you have been doing your research, which is very impressive. I still think Duke is the best team in the nation, because UConn win in the Maui was on a lucky shot and thats there only big win. They haven't played anyone else.
1. Duke 2. UConn 3. Illinios- they looked really good the other night aganist Mizzo 4. Gonzaga 5. Villanova-still a little overrated and gaurd heavy 6. Memphis 7. Flordia-young team 8. Michigan St-maybe a little low for them, they will win the Big Ten 9. Washington-good win aganist the zags but they didn't have ravio play 10. Texas- tought lost to tenn. 11. UCLA-where did they come from 12. Oklahoma-West Virginia beat they pretty handly, there were in my top six before that 13. George Washington-might not lose all season, but i don't think that will happen 14. Boston College-two tough loses last few weeks 15. Louisville-overrated 16. Kentucky-well coached team will be there in the end
